Nevermorish?

I'm providing a rough draft for the next song. After buying Nevermore's latest CD, I thought I'd try mimicking their style a bit. It's hard and as the work progresses I find that it tends to sound more and more Hollow, which hopefully isn't so bad.

A friend of mine recently got me thinking about plagiarism. I don't think that my borrowing from other groups is too obvious. It would be interesting to hear what you think. I remember a thread in the old Hollow forum about bands resembling Hollow, and this is related.

Apart from whether I borrow too obviously or not, I'd like to know what you feel about other bands who just rip off what's been done before.

I just want to express my gratitude for the brilliant music of hollow over the year, and congratulate you on your new born kid.
Also the NVRMR approach is amazing and I cant wait to listen to some more new hollow music with this ingradible voice.

also, don't worry about borrowing too obviously.
Then 80% of metal bands should be ashamed of their music. Metal is about inspiration. Additionally, I believe that hollow has provided brilliant example of creativity and has prospered in the world of metal. Hollow, in my book, has proved that can compose and create music of high quality, and this new sample is confirming this once more.

Metal on...,
